HunterxHunter Manga Review
Man, if you’re into story style anime like Dragon Ball, Full Metal Alchemist, or Gurren Lagann, then Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter is definitely a must see. This is our manga review of HunterxHunter
This story is about a boy (Gon), who through odd circumstances in life, starts meeting strangers at a testing center, that in turn start becoming friends that help Gon later on in the storyline. People have latent powers like “ki” but isn’t mentioned until after the first arc. The fight sequences are pretty cool and don’t last 15 minutes because of screaming. The start of the series is a little slow in its development, but the artwork and story lines definitely make up for any shortcomings! This series has dark undertones and very graphic scenes throughout the progression of the story so kids may want to stay away from this one.
The protagonists are great and will capture your heart. There are weird villains who are just bad for the sake of being bad. Also monstrous aliens who hope for nothing more than the destruction of humanity but serve as one of the main reasons people love this series. This series is definitely a classic and is worth the watch!
All in all, I definitely recommend this series! Though this story is technically still ongoing, with over 140 episodes and 390 manga chapters currently, theres enough content to take up multiple weekend marathons. Hope this manga review of HunterxHunter was a reason to why you would watch this series!
